The Tama-Toledo community is thrilled to be one of the overnight stops for the 50th anniversary of RAGBRAI in 2023! To celebrate 50 years of the iconic bike ride across the state of Iowa, we invite you to step back to 1973 as you travel through our central Iowa community, when the groovy, laid-back vibe of the first-ever bike ride across the state touted a grand total of 114 riders.
50 years later, thousands of bikers from across the country and the world show up to enjoy the beauty of Iowa in late July every year. Tama-Toledo will pay homage to that first ride with the music, style, and vibes of the 1970s.
